PT Children’s Worker, at St Laurence’s Church, Reading
The purpose of the Children’s Worker role is to work with the children of St Laurence [0 – 12 yrs], helping them to grow in the Christian faith. The person will speak on behalf of the children in matters of strategy and direction. In addition, this role will assist in the transition from children’s work to youth work.
Hours: 16 hours p/w (Must include Sunday Services, Monday Staff Meetings <11:30am – 1:00pm>, occasional Saturdays <x3-4 per year> and an Annual Staff Away Day).
Salary: Up to £9,725 per annum (£22,489 FTE), dependent upon experience. Plus 5% pension contribution.
Contract: 2 year fixed term (with the possibility for extension, funding permitting). 3 month probation period.
