Suburban are but also including outer estates. The Mediaeval church restored in the 19th century, is still looked to by old Tilehurst families who now find themselves living in neighbouring parishes which once came under St Michael’s. The church has a very large burial ground with burial rights extending well beyond the present parish of St Michael’s. Numbers attending church services are encouraging.
We provide a welcome to all who share the risen life of Jesus Christ, by being A home for those who worship Jesus: A friend for our fellow believers: A witness to God’s love and a servant to those in our wider community.
Long tradition of and commitment to Christian Stewardship, well-attended Liturgical worship, lay participation in many area of church life including leadership of Marriage Preparation and Baptism Preparation teams, commitment to the importance of music in worship. House groups, at Lent and other times of the year.
